It’s Stampin Up TAGTASTIC

I have to say that I ADORE the cards I’m going to show you today.  All four cards were made using the HOSTESS ONLY stamp set, “Tagtastic,” so the only way to recreate them is to host your own party or place an order with me of $150 or more.  Did you know that when you place an online order that you can earn the same hostess rewards?  So drum an order yourself with your friends and EARN THIS STAMP SET FOR FREE!

You might notice that all of the stamped images coordinate perfectly with Stampin Up punches.  There are six stamps in the set and they coordinate with the Decorative Label, Curly Label, 1-3/4” Circle, and Extra Large Tag Punches.  Does it get any easier than that to create a pretty and quick card?

The card above has a super cute accent of layered strips of borders cut using the Tasteful Trim Bigz Die and the Big Shot.

The cards were all made using the Mocha Morning Specialty Designer Series Paper.  I’m telling you – it is lush and gorgeous!  I love the black and gold and taupe colors of this paper and it makes some really pretty projects.  Please leave a comment below and let me know if you just LOVE these cards as much as I do!

Pennant Parade Scrapbook Layout

I’ve saved the best for last in our little series of Pennant Parade samples!  Stephanie created the cutest scrapbook layout using the same supplies as the card and party favors.

The buttons, seam binding ribbon and linen thread give the page an extra little something to remember a special birthday.  I know I’ve said it before but it bears repeating that the best thing about Stampin Up is the coordinating papers, accessories and ribbons.  They make short order of designing some really beautiful projects.

By the way, I do realize these pictures are pretty POOR!  I have truly tried everything under the sun to get a good picture of a 12x12 scrapbook page and would welcome and any suggestions!  :)

Stampin Up’s Pennant Parade

As promised, today’s project is some super cute little favors Stephanie created using Pixie Sticks.  Now I was excited when I saw them laying on my desk but my seven year old was BESIDE HERSELF!

These were made using the Pennant Parade stamp set and the coordinating punch.  The punches make it so simple to cut out the perfect little flags that layer within each other so easily.  Add a little designer paper and a yummy treat and you have the perfect birthday party favor!

Notice that the edges of the circles in the middle are sponged with ink  and for added dimension they were adhere using Stampin Dimensionals.  Have a fun day and enjoy!

Stampin’ Up and Wish Big!

I’ve got a special treat for you the next couple of days!  It IS a couple of weeks late but I know you will enjoy!  My Stampin’ Buddy, Stephanie created the projects I will be showing you over the next couple of days.  She is so talented!  I’ve asked her to help me out since I’ve not had time to do this blog justice.

Here was her challenge: Create projects using these items:

  • Just Add Cake DSP  (124399)
  • Bring on the Cake Stamp Set (121958)
  • Pennant Parade Stamp Set (122742)
  • Petite Pennants Builder Punch (122361)

She could then use any coordinating products including ribbons, card stock, etc.

Today’s sample, shown above, is a standard sized card created with one of my favorite colors, Wild Wasabi.  I can’t really say if it’s the actual color or the fun of actually SAYING, “Wild Wasabi!”

Try the same challenge and send us copies of your samples.  We’ll show them here along with a link to your blog or website.  Have fun and let us know what you think in the comments below!
